Men's Lacrosse 2012 Season Wrap-up

The Hudson Valley lacrosse team won its third conference championship in the last four years. The team was ranked as high as number nine in the nation and made it all the way to the semi-finals of the regional tournament before losing to eventual National Champions Onondaga Community College. Head coach Joe Hayes was selected as the Mountain Valley Coach of the Year and sophomore standout Mason Agosto (Cary-Grove/Cary-Grove, IL) was awarded Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year. Agosto also earned second team all-region honors, leading the team in scoring with 66 goals and 28 assists, good for 94 total points. David Klapp (Saratoga Springs/Greenfield), Paul Bennett (Glens Falls/Glens Falls), Joe Moore (Schenectady/Schenectady), and Sean Shaughnessy (Glens Falls/Glens Falls) all earned All-Conference honors for the Vikings.
