Hudson Valley's lacrosse team was very young and inexperienced entering the 2011 season, yet they fought hard in each game. The Vikings fell only one game short of making it to the regionals, but picked up some quality wins throughout the season and finished the year with a 6-11 overall record.

Four players earned All-Conference honors: Cody Sholtes (Colonie/Albany), James Bryant (White Plains/White Plains), James Christensen (Bethlehem/White Plains) and Mason Agosto (Cary-Grove (IL)/Cary, IL). Agosto led the team in goals with 42 and assists with 29. Bryant finished third on the team with 29 goals and Christensen finished third in assists with 20. Sholtes helped anchor the defense throughout the season, providing experience and toughness at the position. Paul Nicsevic Jr. (Colonie/Colonie) and Geoff Ulmer (Albany Academy/Albany) split time in goal this year and combined for a total of 256 saves (Nicesevic-133, Ulmer-123).
