The Hudson Valley Community College lacrosse team (1-3) played host to number-three nationally ranked, Monroe Community College of Rochester, New York. The Vikings could not keep up with Monroe, falling 15-4. This matchup was the third nationally ranked team that the Vikings have played against this season.

Monroe jumped on the Vikings early and often as they pelted the Hudson Valley net. Two of the four goals scored by the Vikings came from Casey Balzar (Columbia, Schodack) and Louis Morizio (Averill Park, Averill Park). James Bryant (White Plains, White Plains) had two goals on the day.

The Vikings look to get on track this season as they travel to play Broome Community College on Thursday, April 1.
