WHEN: 6 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2001.

WHERE: In the Conway Ice Arena at Hudson Valley, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy NY.

WHAT: Hudson Valley will conduct an on-ice presentation honoring the college's 2000-01 hockey team. Each player from last year's team will be given a championship ring, and a championship banner will be unfurled.

WHY: Hudson Valley's 2000-01 hockey team traveled to Bottineau, N.D., and captured the school's first national hockey championship, defeating Minot State University-Bottineau. Only three collegiate titles were won in 2000-01: the NCAA Division I crown (Boston University); the NCAA Division III crown (Plattsburgh State); and the junior college crown. En route to the championship, the Vikings, made up mostly of Capital Region players, posted a 24-4 record.
