Bryan McDonaldBryan McDonald (Ballston Lake/Shenendehowa High School), a sophomore on the Hudson Valley Community College ice hockey team, has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 8.

McDonald stopped 11 shots in Hudson Valley's 8-0 win over Broome Community College on Wednesday, February 4. He also made 22 saves in a 5-0 win over the Ramapo Jr. Rangers on Saturday, February 7.

McDonald has stopped 316 of the 344 shots he has faced this year and leads the NJCAA with a 91.9 save percentage. He also is second in the nation with a 2.38 goals against average.

Hudson Valley is 8-8-1 on the season and will host Morrisville State College at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13.
