Hudson Valley Football Beats Navy Prep in Regular Season Finale

The Hudson Valley football team defeated Navy Prep, 30-24, in the regular season finale at Hudson Valley Community College. The Vikings accumulated 277 rushing yards in the game. 240 of those yards came from running back Owusu "Chief" Anane (Boys and Girls, Brooklyn), who was playing his last game in a Viking uniform. Anane scored two touchdowns on the day, as well.

The Vikings played well from the outset, going up on Navy Prep, 20-7. At halftime, the score was 20-14, in favor of the Vikings. In the second half, Hudson Valley struck first with a field goal by David Fox (Tamarac, Troy). Anane added his second of two touchdowns on the day to put the game out of reach for Navy Prep.
