Two former Hudson Valley Community College football players
recently have made news in the professional ranks.
Huey Whittaker, a wide receiver who played at Hudson Valley
in 1999 before transferring to the University of South
Florida, signed a free agent contract with the Jacksonville
Jaguars. He has been allocated to the Berlin Thunder of NFL
Europe for the 2005 season. Whittaker was on the Tampa Bay
