Vikings Regular Season Finale Against Union JV Moved Up One Hour to Noon

Hudson Valley Community College freshman running back Dane Samuels (Clarkstown/Clarkstown High School) has been named the Northeast Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending October 31, 2004.

Samuels carried the ball a school-record 51 times for 243 yards and three touchdowns in Hudson Valley's 33-18 win over Dean College on Saturday, October 30. He ranks second in the conference with 881 rushing yards through nine games this season.

The Vikings (6-3/5-2 NFC) will return to action at noon on Sunday, November 7 when they host Union JV. Hudson Valley has clinched the conference's East Division and will face West Division champion Erie Community College at noon on Saturday, November 13 in Orchard Park in the first-ever Northeast Football Conference Championship Game.
