Cross Country Finished 13th at Vassar

The Hudson Valley Community College cross country team finished 13th out of 14 schools at the Vassar Invitational on Saturday. Hudson Valley was the lone two-year college at the event, which was won by Vassar College.

Sophomore Kalynn Wren (Salem/Salem High School) was Hudson Valley’s top runner, finishing 53rd out of 124 runners. She covered the 5,000 meter course in 23:04. Malerie Tillman (Nassau/Columbia high School) finished 73rd and Sarah Popovics (Gorham, ME/Gorham High School) was 85th.

Hudson Valley will compete at Oneonta on Saturday, September 15.
