Women’s Bowling Finishes 2nd; Men Finish 4th

The Hudson Valley Community College women’s bowling team had their best tournament finish of the season at the Schenectady Invitational with only five women on the team. The women finished second, only 26 pins back of Niagara County Community College. The men struggled early, but came back to finish fourth behind two four-year schools and host, Schenectady County Community College.
Megan Rzeszuto (Colonie/Schenectady) led the women, capturing the All-Events Championship with a six-game total of 1062 and a high-game of 210. Rzeszuto teamed up with Elizabeth Pratt (Lansingburgh/Troy) for their third Doubles Championship of the season. Pratt finished with a 535 in doubles, and Rzeszuto with a 595 for an 1130 total.
Michael Kincy (Oak Harbor/Oak Harbor, WA) led the men with a high-game of 235 for an 1147 six-game series. Michael Hartmann (Coxsackie-Athens/Earlton) also posted a strong performance for the Vikings with a 216-1114 total.
The men’s and women’s bowling teams have their final conference match of the season hosted by Schenectady later this week.
