Hudson Valley's Katie Duncan Signs NLI With Arkansas State

Hudson Valley Community College sophomore bowler Katie Duncan (Voorheesville/Clayton A. Bouton High School) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend school and bowl at Arkansas State University.
Duncan finished third in the 2004 Mountain Valley Conference standings with a 208.3 average. Her top performances of the 2004 season include a 300 game at the Adirondack Invitational, and an individual title at the Dutchess Invitational with a 208 average.
In her freshman year, Duncan teamed up with former Hudson Valley bowler Erin Fagan to win the 2003 NJCAA doubles title.
Arkansas State, an NCAA Division I university located in Jonesboro, will be competing in its first season of intercollegiate bowling in 2004-05.
Duncan is the second Hudson Valley women's bowler in two years to earn a Division I scholarship. Fagan is competing at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore.
